This passage is a great metaphor. “WORD” is the word of God... the scriptures that brighten our soul when we are in the dark.

Kids say the darnedest things, don’t they? They always put big smiles on our faces, they make us laugh from their adorable antics, they melt our hearts with their sweetness and innocence, and more often than not, they make our eyes swell during touching and even heartbreaking moments. 

Have you ever been tapped on the shoulder by the Lord? I was tapped on the shoulder a couple of times this week and was prompted to share a little miracle that happened to me a while back.

Proverbs 23:7 reminds me so much of my Mother. It was her mantra. 😇 She would say to us if we were acting negatively, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Now, don’t you think it would be wiser to change your thinking?” 🤔

I love receiving inspirational AND comical posts from my girlfriends. These gal pals are strong, FUNNY and crazy women who keep me on my toes and laughing! 🤣

People sometimes don’t understand how frustrating it can be to be deaf. It has been likened to being alone in a foreign country and not being able to speak the language. So to wake up from major surgery and not be able to feel you’re communicating clearly or understand what’s going on around you... these are some of the many challenges my sweet brother Tom faces this week. 

My deaf brothers are truly my heroes. Can you imagine being born into a family of singers? I was always amazed by their strength.
