I’m not really a fan of making New Year’s resolutions as much as believing, "Whatever I want to do that I haven’t done is not beyond my grasp.” For me it’s worth the effort to recalculate!

How reminders from my mother, Brene Brown, and my grandsons have helped me find “the magic is in the mess” this Christmas season. Read my final Sunday Message of 2018 and have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

With all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season and knowing we will no doubt have a busy year ahead, let’s challenge ourselves to look around and remind ourselves to “minister to others”, to lift their burdens and use the spirit of Christ-mas as a personal influence all year!

The one thing life has shown me is “we are born and we die”, but what matters most is what we do in between.

Every Holiday season I start off with the best intentions. You know the drill. We say to ourselves, “I will buy presents early, I won’t get caught up in the chaos so that I can have a peaceful holiday.” I will remember to “be in the moment” but then, life happens!

I am so grateful for all the blessings in my life. Although I have made mistakes as everyone has, I have tried to rebound from each one filled with more knowledge which gives me greater hope.

This was a sad and challenging week for our family as my wonderful nephew Troy passed away in his sleep at 33.
