Just as everyone was heading out of town for the Memorial Day 🇺🇸 weekend, members of my family were just getting back home from a refreshing vacation, where we camped out at the Redwood National Park, home of the tallest trees on Earth

OK, so who stayed up and watched? Well, I got up for Prince Charles and Diana‘s historic wedding in the Summer of ‘81 so I wasn’t about to miss Prince Harry’s! 😊

On this Mother’s Day, I would like to honor my last living parent whom I admire greatly, Charlene Louise Bodmer Craig. I am blessed to call her Mom and share the heartfelt sentiments today uttered by my amazing sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and my dear sweet husband Stephen. 

Today, let’s take to heart the lessons that we treasure. Many have been etched in our ♥️s from our loved ones who have gone before us. 💋

I watched First Lady Barbara Bush’s funeral on Saturday and it struck me how her very loving, yet no-nonsense way of mothering has influenced the outcome of her children.

 I’m off from the Flamingo Las Vegas this week and while I was prepping for my upcoming talk for the American Gem Association 💎, I pondered about the theme of my speech.
