Marie Osmond has spent over 6 decades entertaining millions around the world through the medium of records, television, Broadway, talk show host, dancer, actor, author, commercial spokesperson, entrepreneur and public speaker. Throughout the years she remains an instantly recognizable and successful figure across the globe.

Being the only girl of nine children and coming from an iconic, entertainment family, she began her career at the tender age of 3. Marie was humorously introduced on the Andy Williams Show as the youngest Osmond “brother” and from there began performing with her brothers throughout the US, Europe, Asia.

At age 12, Marie recorded her first solo album “Paper Roses” making her the youngest female to have her debut solo record reach the #1 spot on two Billboard charts, catapulting her into international superstardom and placing her among the elite class of musical royalty. She still holds that title today.

She also holds the record as the youngest female to co-host a television show, “Donny & Marie”, an ABC’s network variety show from 1976, to 1979. It became a worldwide hit show being dubbed into 17 languages.

She is a multiple gold and platinum selling artist, garnering numerous Billboard chart-topping singles and albums. Among her duets, she won CMA Duo of the Year in 1986 with Dan Seals, for “Meet me in Montana”. In fact, since she began recording music, Marie has created a legacy of having an album chart every decade of her career.

Marie has three New York Times Bestselling books. Her first book titled “Behind The Smile”, was ground breaking in bringing to light the plight of postpartum depression. She continues to speak on the topic of mental health.

For the past 17 years, Marie has and continues to be, a spokesperson for NutriSystem, helping millions aspire to a healthier and more active lifestyle.

As a philanthropist, she co-founded Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals which is celebrating its 40 year anniversary. To date, her charity has raised almost 9 billion dollars and helps over 12 million kids annually. 100% of the proceeds stay in the local areas they are raised in and go to their local children’s hospitals to bless the lives of its children and their families.

One award that makes her smile is that she’s the first celebrity Barbie doll created by The Mattel Toy Company. Her love of dolls caused her to design and sculpt her own line selling millions of dolls for 25 years. Marie has since retired but received many “Dolls of Excellence” and “Doll of the Year” awards over those years, making her one of the top doll designers in the world.

She felt incredibly honored to receive the highest award given to a US civilian, “The Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service” from the Pentagon’s Secretary of Defense, General James Mattis, given to her from 4-Star General Bob Brown of the US Army Pacific on behalf of USO, and her work with Bob Hope through the years.

In 2019, Marie and her brother Donny completed an 11-year residency in Las Vegas being voted “#1 Best Show” for Caesars Entertainment. They honored them for performing more shows than Elvis and Celine combined. To celebrate their remarkable success, Caesars presented them with the Key to the Las Vegas Strip in October 2019 and they were honored by their fans when they bought them their Star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars.

Marie has hosted many talk shows, her latest being the award-winning daytime show, “The Talk”.

She has toured the world and currently travels the US with her sell-out concerts, Christmas shows, and unique Symphony performances for which she has received rave reviews.

She has recently starred in three Lifetime movies along with other film and acting roles.

Her last album “Music is Medicine,” (released in 2016), made the Top 10 Billboard Country Charts and was a perfect set up for her latest release and current album “Unexpected” where she pushed her voice to remarkable heights. Recording in five different languages and in multiple musical genres, including Opera, this album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Classical Crossover Albums, following its December, 2021 release. To date this album has re-entered Billboards Top Ten 29 different times. The album also made 2022 Top 10 for units sold, placing her #10 on the Billboard year end’s best selling albums charts. Marie recently remarked that she named this album aptly because its success has been so “Unexpected!”

In 2010, she remarried the love of her life, her first husband Stephen Craig and is the mother of eight children and nine grandchildren which she says, are her greatest achievements!

Marie continues to perform, speak, act and raise money for children’s hospitals. She has always had great appreciation and affection for her countless fans and personally keeps in touch with them daily on her social media.
