"As you may know, my mother was my very first and best lifelong friend.  I guess you could say my mother was an unrelenting stage mother, in the best way.  She was there for me every single "stage" of my life and to acknowledge and support me.  It was such a privilege for me to be there for her in the final stage of her life  I created  "Olive May Loving Tribute" in honor of the best girlfriend and doll-collecting cohort a girl could ever have!

 At home in the kitchen, she had the entire Wizard of Oz collection peeking out from behind canisters and potted plants.  Her love for this series could be encompassed in the motto she shared with the movie: "There's no place like home."  In the most prominent place on the counter was her personal favorite, the Wicked Witch of the West.  When I asked her about it, she said it reminded her to never have a melt down.  It's not worth it.  This is great generational advice that I pass along to my own daughters... and now to you."
